Meaningless update!

I went to the spectator drags last weekend at the local roundy-round. Lasted two round(final four) and got stopmed by a guy who launches his truck in 4WD them shifts to 2WD for the corners. The significance of this is that he kills everyone on the start and he's able to get such a lead that it's too hard to run him down. I might have had a chance if I'd borrowed some racing tires from someone, because I tried to walk the car off the line against him, but when I picked up the throttle, the wheels spun effortlessly. Then again it was fucking cold and my car does make ass-loads of torque, a poor combination in any book....

Hitting an autocross this sunday @LCC west. I think it's going to be a tight slow, short course, but what the hell.

I've told you all what an AWESOME show High School of the Dead is. My word is bond, bitches! Anyways, I'll just leave these here.

This posts catgirl is a bit risque, but I'm sure you won't mind.

Soo damn cute........

This is fucking ridiculous.......

I had to replace the heater core in my moms S10 Blazer this weekend and I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, but I didn't expect this. I had to pull the entire dash assembly, the front fender, bumper, and grille, just to get to the HVAC stuff. And then that stuff fought me coming out. It was a fucking nightmare. 7.5 hours later, I still have the dash to put back. The dash was the worst part and I'm not looking forward to putting it back in. GM engineers and total fucking idiots. I saw several things that could've been done better and it would've even made the damn thing easier to assmeble. The major one is, if thay had put sort of dash wiring harness disconnect at either side of the dash, it would've saved a lot of time, as screwing with un-hooking the wiring took most of the time. They at least designed the dash so it can hang on a couple of pivot points so you can contort yourself around the dash to hook crap up wothout having to hold the dash in place. Anyways, I was going to rage a while here about this(this doesn't sound like raging, does it?), but I'm too tired at this point. I recovered well at the end of the day and have about 3 hours left tomorrow. Here's a copule of mid point photos. The new core is in the HVAC box and sitting on the floor.

Once I got to the heater core, it took about 5 minutes to change.......

Hot new work from Tomoe Kamiya!

And, of course, the obligatory catgirl!

What the hell, here's another for good measure. Peace, bitches!

Limitations of nothingness.....

The Ionia autocross was a blast! One of the funnest yet. The course was wide open and quite fast. It also had a cool elevation change in one part that we had to run both directions on and was a lot of fun to handle. On the return you'd have to turn as you got to the top of a rise and my car would get kinda squirly at that point. The track did have a lot of grit on it and it was old pavement to boot. This adds up to poor grip. Take a fast course, add my aggressive driving, a car making 427 ft lbs at the wheels, mix with dirty, old pavement and the outcome is one hell of a good time. I tried to make some good, clean runs, but as usual when I try I end up screwing up some part of the run, which kills my time. After I gave up wasting runs trying to log a fast run, I let it rip on the last two and had some fun. I nailed it pretty good on the last run, but there's this part going from the straight behind the granstands to a sweeper that drops down a bit and kept missing the drift around that corner. My initiation was clean, but I misjudged the cars slide and the rear end came around on me. Coming up the rise to the turn by the start, I nailed the slide perfectly and laid down a nice drift in front of the crowd. It's at the end of the sixth run on the video (at 5:53.00). Oh, look! Here it is!:

I'm closing in on my fourth week of the current semester(fuck yeah!, I'm a quarter of the way done already!) and everything is going spectacular. The Machine Control class, which I thought was going to be challenging is going smoothly(so far....) as are the other two classes.

I heard my former employer is looking for a driver, because their outside sales guy is going to Afganistan(he's a Marine.), so the manager is going out on the road and the dude I never liked is going to be the manager, aparently. If they had called me back, which means they'd have to pay more than what the driver job pays as well as covering the medical, so I know they won't because of that, I'd be tempted to tell them,

Of course, I can't do that if they were to call me back. I'd have to go, but it's cool since I know they never would. They better not!

Strike Witches Two is down to its last episode and this bums me out like mad crazy. I'm going to miss this show a lot. On a related note, Highschool of the dead is winding down as well. Just so you know, these two are the best of the season, and maybe the whole year. Luckily Witches has been picked up by Funi and is supposed to be released sometime in '11. Because of its popularity, I'm sure HOTD will be licensed soon. For your enjoyment, Saeko Busjima cosplay,

To wrap things up, some random catgirl cuteness,

upskirts, Lynette Bishop, and whatever....

Do I love upskirts? Sure, just as much as any other normal hetero male. See?

Other than Highschool of the Dead, Strike Witches 2 is the only consistanly good show this season. Others have started out great(Asobi ni ikuyo!, Ookami-san girl who looks like Tigas older sister show), but then settled into mediocraty(?). Strike Witches doesn't aspire to be a legendary show. It is, however, funny, very entertaining, well written, and chock full of fan service. And it does this show after show. As you may have gleaned from other posts, Lynette Bishop is my favorite character. In episode 9 there was the obligatory beach trip arc. Most shows this is a tiresome cliqued thing, but it works with the Witches. Anyways, I was thrilled to be able to see Lynette is a swimsuit. Wouldn't you know it, the hottest girl gets saddled with a boring suit. It's just not right. 'Ya know?

Beach scene:

She would've looked way hotter in something like what Francesca (one in the middle) is wearing.

Unrelated, to the beach scene, but awesome nonetheless:

Tomorrow, Phantom Cat Motorsports is invading the West Mich. chapter of the Porsche Club of America's autocross at the Ionia Co. fairgrounds. Gonna be a blast!

And finally some random anime hottness,

Peace, Bitches!

Love Hina cont.......

So, I finished Love Hina today and the last three episodes didn't cause me to like it any better. The two movies (Summer Special and Christmas Special) were good and the three episode OVA, Love Hina Again, I liked a lot.

I don't recall if I mentioned this before, but in addition to the first Elis of Asobi ni ikuyo! figure (this approx. $180-$200),
This latest one is approx $120. The first one you can remove her top at least maybe even her bottom, I don't recall. Anyways, for $300 I can have the two of the hottest catgirl figures around. If it wasn't for being laid-off, I'd probably put them on  credit card in a nano-second. Here's the newest,

Breaks my motherfuckin' heart that by the time I get back to work and have the scratch to buy them, they'll be long gone..... I guess there's always the lottery.

Love Hina?.......

I'm currently mashing my way through the harem title, "Love Hina". This is one of the most popular harem titles. Why this is, I have no fucking idea. I'm up to episode 21 or 22 and I regret buying it. By the end of the second episode, I was tired of Keitarou getting decked by Naru every five minutes. Constant played out clique after another. There was an occasional funny part, but for the most of it, I was facepalming constantly. According to Wikipedia, "The series has proved extremely popular around the world, both commercially and critically". It does have some attractive female characters. Naru is very hot and Motoko as the prudish samurai-shrine maiden is hot in her own way, as well, Shinobu is very cute. Maybe I'm not the otaku I thought I was......

I start back to school tomorrow, and I'm rather looking forward to it. I never would've envisioned the day I said that...... The reason for it is that I'm motivated to get through school and get back into the job market and earn a decent wage for the first time. After this semester, I've only one to go.

Shukufuku no Campanella is a sort of fantasy adventure show. A decent watch, but certainly not remarkable, but it did have a surprising touch of fanservice this last episode. Chelsea was working a cafe and.. well, just look and see for your self.

Pretty cool, huh? Anyways Nekomimi time!

The randomness of certainty?

It's begun to set in that when I finish school, I may be moving away, like possibly far away. The top 3 places for my carrer choice are Texas, California, and Iowa. While Iowa isn't that far from MI, the others are. A few years back I lived in NC for a year attending school, but lived with an Aunt and Uncle, so it wasn't too bad. I'm not going to have any support structure wherever I may end up and that's a bit sobering for me. It's going to be a bit rough, I fear, but I'll make it. I have to.

Cosplay is one of the coolest things about the anime culture. Cosplay, which means costume play, is where fans dress up like a favorite character. You can even buy costumes ready to wear, but most go through the trouble to make their own. I don't have a lot of interest in doing it myself, but I would love to do an accurate version of Al Alphonses' suit of armor. Mostly because I could use my metal fab skills. I'll be honest, I really like cosplay for the women. Most female characters are provocativly dressed, from tight tops to ridiculosly short skirts to gravity defying clothing. I found a bunch of images of a cosplayer as Francesca Luchinni from Strike Witches, who happens to one of my favorite characters. She did an awesome job with a quite simple costume.

Gotta love those blue stripes..... Look closely at that last one, do you see it?

And now the obligatory catgirl image. From the goddess herself, Tomoe Kamiya. I know I've said it before, but she really does the BEST catgirl work.

Ja mata!

Weekend wrap-up

Saturdays autocross went pretty well. I finished fourth out of eight. As usual, I over drove my car. If I cared, I'd calm down a bit and be more smooth. I'd call my driving style ragged and a gressive. My first run the timming got screwed up so I got to go again, for a total of five runs. It was nice to have a muligan run to get a feel for the course. Sunday didn't go so well, as my buddy and I got one run each in before the upper radiator hose blew off the water outlet. The upside to this was that I was able to watch the dude with the T-Bird, who is usually my closest competition, run and was able to see why he can beat me. He's smooth and consistent, unlike me. The last run of the year may well be back at US131, where the course is soo fast, my car's power and speed allow me to overcome his better skill. At the first US131 earlier I was a second faster than him. Whatever, I still had a blast. Video follows.....

And now for Highschool Of The Dead cat ear hottness. This last episode was FUCKING AWESOME! Best show of the year. Great action, Sweet pantsu and oppai, and plenty of Zombies getting fucked up.

Finally a rejuvinating dose of "hottie in a swimsuit".....

Why the Japanese Otaku scene is soo cool......

One word cosplay. It's not like you can't find cosplayers here at cons, but the Japanese do it so well. Some are even professional cosplayers. It's, like a hyge component of the otaku culture in Japan. Fucking awesome. Here's a few images from Comiket 78. I'm not sure who this first cosplayer's supposed to be, but check out the cat ears(YESSSS!!!!) and the underboobage(Mmmmm boobies). Soo cute. Speaking of underboobage, A few fags at Sankaku Complex(where I found these images)were whinning about her ribs showing. I call them fags, because I didn't even notice the ribs until I read their comments. I was too busy doing the hetero male thing, looking at the breasts......Click for the larger image......

Here we have Fumino from Mayoi Neko Overrun. Awesome show!

Of course, there were a lot of other images, but these are the few I liked the most. A lot of effort went into the costumes and it showed. My hat comes off for cosplayers. Well done.

The seven deadly sins and organized religion.....

For some time now, I've felt that organized religion was nothing more than a means to control people. You want to worship a higher power? Go right ahead. But to subscribe to a organized form worship, mmmm I don't know about that one. The whole idea of "You'll go to hell if you don't do this" or "You're sure to see Heaven if you do that" strikes me a very scetchy. When I was watching a 7 part series on the 7 sins on the History channel and it talked at length how the church used its power to control the masses, even going so far as to crush out competing religions. They were just down-right mean bastards. The way they dictated policy and, well, tried to control people. Even before this, there always was someting just not quite right about religion to me. I'm talking as far back as when I was a kid. Controling people through religion, isn't that how mullahs, clerics, or what ever the fuck they're called, get simple minded camel rapists to fly planes into buildings, blow themselves up, or other stupid shit that will never advance their causes?.....

Alright, that's enough stuff people care more than they should about. I found another website from which to gather images from, only this one has lots of Japanese Idol stuff. So, I'm thinking I'll start throwing some of thoses on here as well. Just to warn you, they'll all be Asian. Does this mean I love asian women? Yes. Absolutely. But, I also love Black, Hispanic, and White women. To me, a womans "hottness quotient" is not determined by her race. There was no name listed with this, so I have no idea who she is. But she's beautiful.

And then there's this:

Peace out! Two day autocross this weekend @ MSU. Check it, son!
