So, two months since my last post and a good bit has happened. After two days at Demmer, I started looking for a new job. One month of working in that hell hole, I found something decent, started the testing and stuff to get in, and got laid off from Demmer (YEA!!!!). Two weeks later I started at Dakkota Integrated Systems, a tier 1 supplier for GM,working third shift "sequencing" at Plant 2. It's a fast paced job, with little idle time. An eight hour shift goes by in no time. It's such a better job and place, you really can't make a comparison.
On the racing front, I went to a second track day at Gingerman Raceway, a couple of more drift events, and a bunch more autocrosses. However, I began losing the clutch at the last run of the year @ US131. That will make clutch #5 for this car. Somethings gotta change. I'm good and tired of changing clutches in this car. I'm either going to a 12" ro a twin disc.
Oh, and the figure collection has grown WAY bigger. I recently had to add a couple of shelves and will run out of room again in a couple of months. Oh well.....
Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm thinking of hitting Meijers in a couple of hours to grab an XBOX 360 w/ kinect on sale for $200. Anyways, It's nekomimi jikan!

Sore wa hisashiburidesu,-sōde waari?
Damn, it's been like a month since my last post. But I have been working my new job during that time. A crappy one, producing parts for military vehicles. That's right folks, I'm a bonafide factory worker. Fuck me....... I always thought I'd hate line work and I was right. What a horrible job. I was so tired of being on unemp that I thought, How bad could it be?..... How little did I know. Anyways, been workin', racin', and schoolin', and adding to the figure collection, now that I'm back to work. I up pics later. I'm out. Peace bitches and here's the good stuff.

I'm not so sure about this......
I have a welding assesment test monday at local company that builds components for armoured vehicles(tanks, personel carriers....). I have no formal training in welding. I'm self-taught in mig and my uncle gave me a few lessons in tig. It's through an employment service. They saw I listed mig/tig welding skill on my online app and set up the test. I'm not real wild about welding for a living, it's horribly dirty and nasty, but it is a job and welding pays pretty decent money, especially tig. I'm totally going to try for it. What's the worst that can happen, I fail the test? I got nothing to lose.
My buddy and i ran an autocross at MSU today. No trophies for either of us, but he did a great job in the 'Bu and I had a blast throwin' some drifties on my last run. The bummer is the batteries died in the camera and we got no video for the last two runs each. There were these two hotties though. Especially the one working grid. I may edit up video just because of her.....
Well, that's all for now. For a change, no catgirls this time(yeah, I know, BooHoo.). Instead, I give you bunnygirls!

Uhhhhh....what?
Okay, job market still going nowhere. Bunch of fuckin idiots in washington. Hit a drift day @ Gibraltar Teade Center last satuday. Hell-on-earth hot and humid. Had a blast, until I ran over a stack of safety barrier tires, running one over, and breaking an axle. I have 1633 miles on this car since I finished it and I'm on my third set of steel axles....... Here's pic of broken axles and the in-car vid:
Late Aug to earky Sept, the 'Bu is gonna be very busy. Aug 27 there is the GR metro cruise autocross. Sept3rd is the West Mich Porsche club autocross @ Ionia fair grounds and the 4th is a track day @ Gingerman Raceway. Then, on the 11th of Sept, is the "Bikers for Babies" charity drag/autocross @ US131. That's four events in three weekends. Can't wait. Next up os the 6th & 7th of Aug for the Furrin Group's MSU double header autocross.
I have the hood lift supports done on the Camaro project and I'm heading out to the salvage yard to hunt down a suitable hood latch and cable. Here's the hood currently:
I guess that's it at this time. And now, catgirls.......
Ja ne, bitches!

Blahrglespmurplicity(?)
Still laid the fuck off, looking like a madman, but nothing as of yet. It seems like one momment the news says some economic figure as changed in a positive way, then after they come back from break, another one has change for the worse. Will we ever get out of this????????
Currently working on a 1969/1999 F-body mish-mash project. It's a '69 Camaro that was "clipped" by the owner using the front and rear sub-frames from a rolled'99 Z28. Pretty cool car, but some of the fab work done by a former employee of the ower is, well....., sub-par really. Okay, it sucks. Anyways, I've been tapped to fab hood hinges so it'll open from the front as well as some sort of dash. I finished the hinges last week and am on to the hood support lifts and some kind of latch. No sweat. The dash I'm not so sure about. I still need to talk with the owner before I start on that. Check the pics:
And now, you guessed it, NEKOMIMI NO JIKAN!!!!!!!!
Ja ne, Baka!

Ohisashiburi desu ne!
It's been a while, eh?(like anybody reads this anyways.....) Things are finally beginning to shake lose on the employment front. Finally landed a few interviews, but no offers as of yet. Still gonna keep digging, what else can I do?
Signed up for my last class in my program! I'm soo ready to be done, so I can get out there and get a decent job.
The 'Bu's still holding up well. My buddy and I double entered it this weekend at an autocross @ GVSU. He did pretty good considering he's not real familliar with it and I finished fourth out of six cars in class. Speaking of my buddy, his car's being a pain in the ass lately. I think he lost the rings in the # 6 & 8 cylinders. Why, I have no idea. They were fine last year, but now those cylinder's plugs are oil fouled and it smokes out the exhaust. It's not even my car and I'm pissed. I can only imagine how he feels.....
Here's the latest autocross vid:
That done, it's catgirl time and misc 3D hottie time! As well as the latest from Tomoe Kamiya....
That's all for now. I''l be back at some point, who knows when. With such a boring life, it could be a while before something worth posting happens......

So I ran my first track day......
I ran my first track day last Saturday at Gingerman Raceway and had a blast. The weather held out, but for a rare drizzling and the track stayed pretty dry through out the day. I got to do a ride along with a guy in the advanced class to start the day out, which really helped get the lay of the track and see where the worker stations were. As the day went on, I got better and better in figuring out corner entry/exit, and brake zones. By the last session I was humping the 'Bu around the course nicely. The cost was $175, but I accumulated just over 2 hours of on-track time, so it really was a good deal even at that amount.
My observations from the day:
1. Just because you own a sports car doesn't mean you know how to drive.
2. The G-body front suspension design really is just as crappy as everybody says it is.
Let me explain,
#1. I got caught behind some old dude driving a 370Z not once, not twice, but three damn time! Most of the laps I was trapped behind him, he was fairly good, except for these three section where he totally sucked. He was way off line and slow. The tragedy is that he did it in the same spots, lap after lap. Track days are for learning to sharpen driving skills. That dude wasted his money. What made it worse, is that he'd get a jump on me off the corners and when I did keep up and wanted to pass, he never gave me the pass sign. He was soo slow after getting caught behind him the second time, A Honda Fit caught us! I finally just went out last in the group and let the field run off on the warm-up lap, then took off after them. It was like having the track to myself. And not having to deal with "fabrizio" and his fucking Nissan.
#2. G-bodies use a spindle with a short height which causes the contact patch on the inside tire to shrink when the body rolls going through a corner. The way to fix it is to use a B/F-body spindle, and if I run more of these events, I might consider the cost worth it.
anyways, The 'Bu was rock solid all day long. The Hawk HP Plus pads were awesome, but late in the day the pedal was getting just a bit soft late in the sessions, so some brake ducting might be in order. Here's the vid:
Now, it's time for catgirls. I should be getting my Strike Witches boxers and the first of two Elis of Asobi ni iku yo! figures soon........
